To let everyone know, I will be taking over the literature class following Mr. Beaubier's departure.

Any suggestions for books you would like to study will be taken into consideration if they are appropriate.

Does this mean we still have to read all the really hard books?

Ooh oooh oooh!

Silent Spring, Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights, All But My Life, Waiting for Godot, As I Lay Dying, The Importance of Being Earnest, Lolita, 1984, Slaughterhouse Five, Anna Karenina, Self-Reliance, The Canterbury Tales, The Bell Jar, The Cherry Orchard

I have a whole list if you're really interested. Those are just the ones I could think of off the top of my head.

NO MELVILLE. Seriously, Kurt, if you like these kids, do not make them read the book about the whales.
