I woke up fairly early only to realize I had nothing to do. From what I've seen, this house is--or was--amazing, but it's hardly fit to live in right now. I can't imagine having been here when whatever happened, happened. It must have been terrifying.

I explored the grounds, saw the sports fields before going inside and going to Ororo's (or is it Ms. Munroe?) literature class and spending some time with her while she showed me around the mansion. Thank you for the tour, and the conversation. You are wonderful to talk to.

I keep meeting more and more of the staff and students here, and I don't know if I'll ever be able to keep them all straight, the kids seem to be constantly in motion, even now, and while I'm sure they each have names and faces, I don't think I caught either.

So I spent the afternoon meeting people, and when then I went for a run on the paths the students showed me.

And now it seems Sam has yet someone else to introduce me to...

Enjoy that feeling. It won't last.

Ororo is fine. And I wouldn't call myself "wonderful", but thank you. You're very good conversation yourself.

Idle hands are the devil's tools, or so I've heard, so I look forward to having things to do. :)

And not to call yourself wonderful is to do yourself a discredit, Ororo.

G'night

I don't mind it Sam, that particular song is pretty catchy, actually.

Personally, I prefer female singers. I like the Indigo Girls, they have such nice harmonies, and have taken a stand for mutant rights, and I also liked Allison Blaire, and even saw her in concert once. I really respected her decision to tell the world she was a mutant, but I never heard what happened to her. I also like some German bands, and drum and bass, but I'd love to hear what you think of as 'better music' Jubilee.

I like the Indigo Girls, too. If you feel bad and listen to their music you can stop feeling bad much easier. Actually in a way music is the only thing can listen to right now without feeling... bad.

i like music where you can lose yourself in the rhythms, the melodies, and just the feel of it. a lot of times lyrics take away. i prefer music that becomes part of you, that just reaches into your core and intertwines itself with your soul. that is better music---none of that nails against the chalkboard country stuff that sam has you listening to...ick.

who're the indigo girls?

oh i also enjoy punk music very much...it's great when your angry, and some of the poppy stuff ain't bad either.

i also love grandmaster flash and the furios five (check out the message...kind of my life before this school.) and other old school flow---like run dmc, and sugar hill gang

I'm assuming you haven't met our Allie, have you? I think she'll appreciate the compliment. If you're coming to the memorial service tomorrow, you'll definitely find out where Allison Blair has gone off to.

I wanted to welcome you to the school. I know this is terribly late, but I've been abit preoccupied lately. I hope your transition is going well with Sam and the others.

Well we gotta get you comfortable! And even more important, get the kids comfy with you. Y'know?

But yeah. Don't worry, Kurt. I'll get you all straightened out and help with the students' names and stuff.

Or, if you want me to lay off with the Southern Hospitality, lemme know and I'll put a sock in it. ;)

No, you've been wonderful. Trust me, I've shared trailers with some obnoxious people on the road, and you're great.
